A fragile young girl tells us her childhood dream of becoming a pirate. Meanwhile she performs jiu jitsu excersises with other women. Director Martina Amarti chose an pseudo-amateurish visual concept, mimicking a homevideo-style way of filming. Both, the theme and the approach are quite untypical for the fashion film genre. And we’re quite delighted about the outcome!
The film was created for the Fall 2011 collection by London-based Designer Bella Freud (by the way Lucien Freud’s daughter and Sigmund Freud’s great-granddaughter), who has proven her understanding of fashion in past fashion films. We hope there is more to come!
